Free Wales Speech: just another anonymous Plaid attack blog

It's taken approximately 48 hours for the Free Wales Speech blog to transform itself from a site dedicated to counter "partisan attack blogs" into...a partisan attack blog. This must be the blogging equivalent of blowing one's wad early.

And - quelle suprise - it turns out to be an anonymous Plaid Cymru attack blog - like we haven't got enough of those.

He says:

[Luke Ellis's ] decision to take a break was probably influenced by the dark Machiavellian movements

Of course: dark Machiavellian movements. As opposed to nice, cuddly Machiavellian movements presumably.

by certain members of his own party.

Really? And what evidence have you got for that? Or are you just indulging in the "politically motivated smear"?

These people have almost certainly been leaving negative comments around the Welsh blogosphere and even going as far as setting up a one post blog to demand his sacking.

Setting up a one post blog, eh? What was that about illiterate bloggers again?

These people have clout though, and apparently a direct line to Labour spin-meister in chief at the Western Mail, Martin Shipton.

Ah yes, the inevitable conspiracy theory. Always issued from behind a shield of anonymity. Always ridiculous. And it should be "spinmeister-in-chief".

I offer my full support to Luke at this time

Cor, I bet that means a lot to him.

and wish him all the best in the future. Let's hope he takes up blogging again because despite the naysayers the more voices the better.

Punctuate, you cretin! It may tumble out of the vast, empty space between your ears in one go, but the rest of us have to read it.

Illegitimi non carborundum

Ad naseum, more like. Oh, and sentences - even cod Latin ones - typically end in a full stop.

Not really

I'm not really setting up a blog for such a crap purpose.

Why not go back to the real world now?
